Terms of use
The terms on which this website and the public certificate verification service are made available.
Acceptance
By accessing this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms are between you and Foster Rx Systems Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business in Annapolis, Maryland (“Foster Rx”, “we”, “us”).
The verification service
The certificate verification page is provided free of charge, without an account, to any reader. It performs a cryptographic check of a certificate against a published trust anchor and displays the certificate's contents.
A successful verification establishes that the certificate was issued by Foster Rx and has not been altered since signature. It is not a warranty of any commercial outcome, and it does not make Foster Rx a party to any transaction between you and the sender.
We intend the verification service to remain available and free permanently. We do not, however, warrant uninterrupted availability, and nothing in these terms creates a service-level commitment to a reader who is not a customer.
Assessments are not advice
Certified assessments are analytical work product. They are not legal advice, not investment advice, not tax advice, and not a regulatory opinion. Freedom-to-operate materials are not a legal opinion and do not establish freedom to operate; any conclusion in that domain requires review by qualified counsel, and the materials say so.
Every assessment states its conditions and its evidence gaps. Reliance on an assessment without regard to its stated conditions is unreasonable, and we disclaim responsibility for it.
Intellectual property
The website, the platform, the assessment methodologies and all associated materials are owned by Foster Rx and protected by intellectual property law, including one or more pending patent applications. You may read, print and share certificates for their intended purpose. You may not scrape, reverse engineer, or use any part of the site or platform to build a competing service.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; do not interfere with the operation of the site; do not misrepresent a certificate, alter one, or present an unverified document as certified. Misrepresentation of a certificate may be actionable and, because certificates are permanently verifiable, is discoverable.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foster Rx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the site or the verification service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Where you are a customer, liability is governed by the services agreement rather than by this section.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The state and federal courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
Changes
We may amend these terms. The effective date above reflects the current version; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
